How this was counted
Read from Reddit's public archive (Arctic Shift): every post a buyer flaired Hiring or Task on 10 hiring boards (r/B2BForHire, r/DesignJobs, r/HireaWriter, r/HungryArtists, r/VideoEditingRequests, r/forhire, r/freelance_forhire, r/hireaprogrammer, r/jobbit, r/slavelabour), and the posts on 95 business forums that read as a request to hire, recommend or price someone. A post reposted with the same words counts once (14,455 reposts and empty posts were not counted). A post that names two services counts for both, so the rows add up to more than the total. Job adverts for staff, offers to sell a service, and requests for fake reviews, followers or links are not counted for any service. The busiest hiring boards were read back to their page limit, so for those the window starts later than 2025-11-06.
