- Since 6 April 2025 the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (Schedule 20) bans commissioning a fake consumer review or one that conceals the fact it has been incentivised, and publishing reviews in a misleading way, such as removing negative ones while publishing positive ones.
