# Store migration

> Store migration at ellul.ai: £995, a fixed price agreed in writing before work starts, never charged by the hour. Moving shop platform without losing sales.

- Price: £995 (one-off)
- Time: 1 to 2 weeks
- Page: https://ellul.ai/services/store-migration

## What is included
- Products, customers and orders moved
- Old links redirected so rankings hold
- Checked line by line before switch-over

## How many people are asking for it
20 posts on Reddit asked to hire someone for store migration between November 2025 and November 2026, 11 of them in the last 90 days, most on r/shopify, r/woocommerce, r/ecommerce.

## Paid separately, at cost
- Your new platform's plan and any apps, billed by the platform
- Any paid migration app the move needs, at cost
- A new theme, if you choose a paid one

## What the buyer supplies
- Admin access to the old and the new store
- A quiet trading window for the switch-over
- Sign-off after the line-by-line check

## What the price does not cover
- Redirects protect rankings, but search engines decide where pages rank
- Customer passwords cannot usually be moved, so customers may need to set a new one
- Apps, theme design and custom features are not rebuilt in this price

## A cheaper way to do it
- Shopify's own Store Migration app is free and moves product and customer data into Shopify from platforms including WooCommerce, Wix, Etsy, Square and eBay. Source: [Shopify App Store: Shopify Store Migration](https://apps.shopify.com/store-migration)
